Regionals: Planning Your Conference
Planning a regional IUG conference/meeting can be a daunting task, but having one is great especially for those who are not able to attend the larger conferences.
Kathleen Olson put together a great handout for the 2008 IUG Conference Regional Roundtable . She has some great pointers and includes a sample conference itinerary for the Northwest IUG.

We also want to let you know that remote seminars (InnoU) can be arranged for your regional groups!
Below is some information about the seminars.
- The trainer is remote via Webex for each two-hour session.
- Possible seminar topics are at at http://csdirect.iii.com/training/innou_classes.php (csdirect password required)
- Hands-on work is not available.
- Optimal attendance would not exceed that for a normal class. 8-12 is optimal. A larger group impacts the quality of the session, so when the group publicizes the session, it must be indicated that attendance is limited. They could always opt for a second session if there is demand.
